Swiss
watch
manufacturer

We are proud to announce that we now have an established Swiss watch brand in our customer portfolio. This is the first time Zippsafe has equipped a company from the luxury goods industry with its products. Find out why the watch manufacturer chose the smart locker room solution.

In the course of a renovation of the entire building, which extends over six floors, the need for new locker rooms arose for the watch manufacturer. Since more employees should have their own locker room space, but the existing area was not sufficient for this, a space-efficient solution was sought. By replacing the existing standard lockers with Zippsafe, 150 locker room spaces could be created. Employees appreciate the functionality of their new personal locker bags as well as the separate shoe compartment.

In addition to the enormous space savings, the customer saw significant benefits in digital access management. The systems can be easily opened and locked with Dormakaba personnel cards, which are used in-house. Initially, the company's intention was to purchase ZippSpace Regular systems. However, when the question of whether ZippSpace Pro systems would be compatible with the employee badges without software was clarified, the decision was made otherwise.

As an established company in the luxury segment, product aesthetics are of great importance. Much to our delight, the watch manufacturer found our systems extremely visually appealing and felt they were an upgrade to the previous wardrobe solution. In addition, another decisive argument for choosing Zippsafe was the "Swissness" factor. The watch brand values the importance of supporting local companies. The pride was accordingly great in choosing an innovative Swiss company to equip the locker room spaces.

Shortly before completion, the commissioning of the systems still presented us with challenges. Due to limited space in the locker rooms, the ZippSpace Pro systems could not be delivered assembled. Consequently, the assembly of the 10 systems had to happen on site. However, the extra effort was no obstacle for our installation team and the commissioning went off without problems.
