Zippsafe is entering two new markets with the Ordensklinikum Linz in Austria and the Centre Hospitalier de Wallonie Picarde in Belgium. In a first step, both hospitals have acquired four ZippSpace systems. If successfully evaluated, Zippsafe's smart soft locker solutions will be used as an employee locker room solution on a larger scale.

With its historic facilities, the Ordensklinikum in Linz is Zippsafe's first hospital client in Austria. The current site of the Ordensklinikum Linz was founded in 1841. Today it is one of the leading hospitals in Austria. In order to create more capacity in the existing premises at short notice, four ZippSpace systems were acquired. In addition to a short-term mitigation of the space scarcity, the new locker room solution serves as a test for what will, in a best case scenario, be a larger facility at the hospital.

"No other supplier is as space-efficient and convenient with such high user-friendliness as Zippsafe."

Bernhard Reininger

With the installation at the Centre Hospitalier de Wallonie Picarde (CHwapi) the first Zippsafe systems have been installed in Belgium. The CHwapi is one of the largest hospital institutions in the Walloon region of Belgium and comprises three hospitals, as well as a polyclinic. In the future, they will be centralized at one site, for which a new hospital is being built. For the locker rooms of the new location, an innovative and space-saving solution was sought and Zippsafe was found. Central to the decision was the high user-friendliness of the ZippSpace locker room solution. In order to test it on site, four systems were installed. The CHwapi was extremely satisfied with the introduction of Zippsafe. In particular, the shoe compartment and the ventilation system were reasons for enthusiasm. Users also liked the electronic closure of the locker bags, which can be operated with the personal employee badge.

Similar to Austria, the four systems at CHwapi are used to evaluate a possible equipment for the employee locker rooms in the new building. Approximately 2,500 employees could benefit and receive their own personal locker bag. Managing an employee locker room solution of this size is challenging. Zippsafe has developed the Zippsafe Management System (ZMS) for this purpose. Together with the user interface, the ZippManager, it simplifies the assignment and management of the locker bags.
