SQUARE University of St. Gallen
After two years of construction, on February 12, 2022, the University of St. Gallen officially opened the doors of the new HSG Learning Center, named the SQUARE. Zippsafe is not only one of over 1000 donors of the project, but we also had the honor to equip the locker rooms with our products. Thus we are now represented in an educational institution for the first time.
What challenges did the University of St. Gallen (SQUARE) face?
For the new SQUARE building, which serves as an innovative hub to foster new ways of learning and interaction, a modern locker room solution was needed. The main challenge was finding a system that matched the building's forward-thinking, innovative spirit, seamlessly integrated with the interior design, and functioned as a flexible, shared locker system for constantly changing visitors.
Why did the organization choose Zippsafe?

Additionally, the ZippSpace design impressed with its aesthetic fit, blending perfectly into the room's concept and matching the existing wooden lockers in color. Another major key factor was system compatibility: the bags can be operated effortlessly using RFID media such as student IDs or the SwissPass.

How do the students profit from Zippsafe?
By installing six ZippSpace Pro L systems, modern locker spaces were created for 90 people. Operating in shared mode, the lockers allow students and visitors to flexibly
and securely store their personal belongings using their student ID or SwissPass during their stay. For Zippsafe, this project also marked a successful expansion into the education sector.
