The history of Mutter Rosa Centre for the Elderly in Trier, near the border to Luxembourg, goes back a long way. In 1870, a hospital was opened on the corresponding site by Mutter Rosa, the founder of the orden. After a hundred years of charitable work, the hospital was closed down. In 1976, the Mutter Rosa Centre for the Elderly was established. Now 139 residents and 65 nuns enjoy their time in the Mutter Rosa Centre for the Elderly.
Due to the varied offer, Mutter Rosa is a popular home for elderly people and equally attractive as an employer. The team of the Mutter Rosa Centre for the Elderly currently has about 185 employees. In the last few years, there has been strong growth in the number of staff at the senior citizens' homes, and the increase of trainees and students has been particularly large. This consequently led to capacity bottlenecks - also in the locker room area. After the decision-makers inspected our installation in the Klinikum Esslingen, the choice for Zippsafe was clear. The existing standard lockers were replaced by two ZippSpace Pro L systems, creating locker room spaces for 30 employees. Thus, the Mutter Rosa Centre for the Elderly was able to expand its capacity enormously in the available space.
