A central changing room with 50 ZippSpace systems now offers a state-of-the-art, hygienic, and space-saving solution across 200 square meters. The new concept noticeably optimizes processes at this exclusive location and has been met with great appreciation by the staff.
What challenges did Jelmoli face?
In a popular location like Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse, space is extremely valuable. The traditional department store, with its approximately 750 employees, needed a new locker room concept that would utilize the space with maximum efficiency. The goal of the renovation project was to replace outdated metal lockers with mechanical locks, digitize administrative processes, and simultaneously create a pleasant working atmosphere that reflects the store's premium standards.
Why did the department store choose Zippsafe?
Jelmoli chose Zippsafe because the system allows for a remarkably high number of locker spaces on a small area. A crucial criterion was its seamless integration into the existing access control system: In collaboration with Dormakaba and Ethelred, Zippsafe was integrated, enabling employees to easily access their lockers using their employee cards.
