Integra Biosciences AG is a leading developer of innovative laboratory equipment. To live up to this level of innovation in its new headquarters building, the company replaced outdated metal lockers with Zippsafe systems. The new locker systems have significantly enhanced the employee locker rooms and became the highlight of every company tour.
What challenges did Integra Biosciences face?
Before the switch, Integra used conventional, 30 cm wide metal lockers with padlocks. These did not meet the company's modern and innovative standards, either aesthetically or functionally. Especially with the new building in mind, it became clear that a new solution was needed: The locker system had to fit perfectly into the innovative environment, offer employees maximum comfort, and do so with minimal space requirements.
Why did the company choose Zippsafe?
Integra opted for the installation of a total of 16 ZippSpace Regular modules. This allowed them to create 200 locker spaces for office and production staff (100 each for men and women) within the given space. In addition to its optimal use of space, Zippsafe was particularly convincing due to its high level of user-friendliness: integrated benches, a well-designed hanger system, and separate shoe compartments ensure order and comfort. Furthermore, the use of a master key significantly reduces administrative effort.
