2025 was a year of continued development for Zippsafe. Building on the successes of previous years, we were able to further accelerate our growth in multiple directions. We continued to gain traction in new industries such as healthcare, successfully launched our latest innovations on the market, and expanded our international presence.
Steady Growth
In 2025, Zippsafe continued to grow – both as a company and as a team. Thirteen new colleagues joined us, bringing fresh perspectives, expertise, and energy. Today, our team consists of 67 people who consistently pursue our shared vision. Our extended team was also strengthened with additional expertise: Christoph Beckenbauer joined our Innovation Board, and Michael Dobler became a member of our Advisory Board.
At the same time, we were delighted to welcome 39 new customers. More and more organizations are recognizing that locker rooms are far more than just places to change clothes – they are becoming spaces that enhance well-being and efficiency within modern working environments, while offering significant cost-saving potential.
By installing 737 systems, we created 9,825 new changing stations and saved a total of 3,930 square meters of floor space. Renowned organizations benefited from these installations, including the food producer Hilcona, the Swiss luxury hotels Cervo Mountain Resort in Zermatt and Trois Rois in Basel, Deutsche Bahn, Tirol Kliniken in Innsbruck, University Medical Center Freiburg, and Kantonsspital Graubünden.
The largest installation of the year took place at University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, where 90 systems were put into operation. Measurable space efficiency remains our strongest value proposition and a key driver of growing demand across a wide range of industries.
Innovations in the Spotlight
A major milestone in 2025 was the official market launch of ZippBag and ZippScan. Together, they enable an extremely efficient and secure management of patient belongings. Following a successful pilot project at Kantonsspital Baden in the previous year, we focused on establishing these solutions in the market. In 2025, 70 ZippBags were sold and eight pilot projects were implemented.
To best showcase these products, new visual and video content was required. Fortunately, the new hospital building at Kantonsspital Baden – home to a large Zippsafe installation completed the year before – provided the perfect setting for producing new product videos for both ZippSpace and ZippBag. The results speak for themselves.
Our ZippManager software also deserves the spotlight. In addition to a refreshed design, numerous new features were introduced, making the management of Zippsafe locker systems even simpler and more efficient.
National and International Presence
In 2025, Zippsafe was on the road more than ever. We attended 25 trade shows and conferences – more events than in any previous year. For the first time, we also specifically participated in Food & Beverage trade shows. To bring Zippsafe’s space-saving DNA to life, hostesses dressed as astronauts attracted attention – an appearance that left a lasting impression on visitors.
Towards the end of the year, we traveled to southern France with our locker system and ZippBag, presenting our solutions directly to hotels and hospitals along the Côte d’Azur. Whether this enthusiasm will translate into concrete projects in the coming year remains to be seen.
Our presence also grew in Eastern Europe. Our Polish distribution partner Certmed successfully sold several locker systems to a public hospital for the first time. In addition, we continued to expand our sales partner network and, at the end of the year, began working with Kapamed in Romania.
New Industries, New Solutions
Our increased focus on the Food & Beverage industry is promising. To better meet the specific requirements of this sector, we co-developed a special locker bag together with food producer Hilcona, designed to meet higher safety and hygiene standards. This co-creation project exemplifies our commitment to developing solutions for and together with our customers.
With the momentum of 2025 behind us, we look to the future with confidence. Our focus remains on new geographic markets, additional industries, and new target groups – alongside the continuous development of our products.
Zippsafe remains in motion – and has been for nearly 10 years. In 2026, we will celebrate our 10th anniversary, and we are very much looking forward to it, as well as to many more highlights ahead.
