In your role as a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be a key player in our software engineering team, bridging the gap between our hardware-connected backend services and our user-facing applications. We are looking for someone comfortable navigating a complex IoT ecosystem, from designing intuitive React frontends to building robust .NET backend services on Azure and beyond. You will join a team of highly motivated engineers at our fi rst-class development offi ce — playing a key role in reaching our goal to make smart soft locker solutions the new standard with 1 million happy users worldwide.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Develop Core Products: Design, build, and maintain our key software products, including the ZippManager (locker management GUI), ZippScan (patient belongings tracking), and the Zippsafe Device Manager (ZDM)
● Frontend Development: Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React, ensuring a seamless experience for facility managers and end-users
● Backend Engineering: Develop scalable APIs using .NET Core (C#) that communicate with our IoT devices and external systems
● Cloud Architecture: Work extensively with Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure Functions, IoT Hub, Azure SQL) to ensure high availability and performance
● IoT Integration: Implement and maintain communication protocols (MQTT/AMQP) that connect our smart soft lockers to the cloud 1

● End-to-End Responsibility: Take ownership of features from concept to deployment, including writing clean, testable code and managing CI/CD pipelines
● Collaboration: Work closely with the hardware/fi rmware team to ensure seamless integration between physical devices and digital twins

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Full-Stack Expertise: Strong profi ciency in C# / .NET Core for backend and React (or modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks) for frontend
Hosting Agnostic Mindset: Hands-on experience developing for both cloud and on-premise environments
Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational database (MSSQL) and data modelling
Software Craftsmanship: Dedication to writing clean, maintainable code with a test-driven mindset (Unit/Integration testing)
Agile Experience: Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confl uence)
Language Skills: Fluent in English and Hungarian
Experience: Min. 5 years of relevant experience in software development
NICE TO HAVE:
IoT Experience: Background in building IoT solutions or working with MQTT protocols
DevOps Skills: Experience with Docker or setting up Azure DevOps pipelines
Security Awareness: Knowledge of secure coding practices (OWASP) and identity management (Active Directory/LDAP integrations)
UI/UX Interest: An eye for design and user experience
