While the CERVO Mountain Resort in Zermatt embodies a luxurious, alpine lifestyle in the Front-of-House, the hotel was reaching its spatial limits in the Back-of-House area. To elevate the staff area to the same high standard as the guest area, the limited space demanded a completely new locker room solution. What challenges did the CERVO Mountain Resort face?
The resort's employee locker room was facing two different challenges. On one hand, the previous locker solution was too tight and simply no longer sufficed for the growing team. On the other hand, the individuality of the employees posed a challenge, as each department wears a different uniform and therefore has different requirements. This was further intensified by the alpine location in Zermatt: many team members commute directly to work in their ski suits during the winter, which requires a solution with a massive amount of storage space.
