In your role as Technical Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for interesting projects and maintaining configuration as well as excellent communication with stakeholders. We are looking for someone who has a general understanding of on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructures, and with this help scale up the company to reach 1 million happy users worldwide. Our focus is to enable transformation to space-saving and smart employee locker room solutions, providing the best-in-class user experience for professionals around the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Support (~40%)

  • Handle 2nd-level tickets (including L1.5 cases)

  • Perform technical analysis and troubleshooting

  • Communicate with customers and document issues using ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Odoo, Jira)

  • Provide structured technical remote support for on-site deployments


Project & Deployment (~60%)

  • Execute defined project tasks and monitor rollout progress

  • Coordinate with stakeholders during installations and updates

  • Maintain configuration files (CSV, XML, JSON)

  • Prepare technical environments (e.g., server setup, database configuration, network/connectivity)

  • Perform pre-deployment validation and support field technicians remotely

  • Support software rollouts, testing, and documentation (e.g., ZDM, Confluence)

  • Assist with firmware/software upgrade planning and documentation

  • Collaborate with DevOps, Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to align system setup and feedback processes

REQUIREMENTS


Must-have

  • Strong Excel skills (especially working with CSV files)

  • Fluency in German and English

  • Experience in IT support (1st or 2nd level)

  • Solid understanding of SQL databases (e.g. MS SQL Server)

  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, port management, Wi-Fi, LAN, LTE)

  • Familiarity with Windows Server and IIS

  • General understanding of on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructures

  • Structured and independent working style


Nice to have

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Odoo, Jira)

  • Basic knowledge of XML and JSON

  • Experience with technical documentation and project execution

  • Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell)

  • IoT familiarity

  • Experience with RFID and web-based systems
